The Long Holidays are a group of adventurers who write intelligent, and funny story-songs. They have a blast playing their spontaneous blend of rock musics.

They were started at some point in 2007 by Jim, a serious science student needing to blow off some steam. The current lineup features Andy (the heart and soul) on bass and trombone, Kevin (the voice of reason) on piano and drums, Sean (the party dude) on trumpet, and a rouges gallery of friends who drift in and out whenever the winds change.

They Long Holidays never fail to entertain. Their eclectic set contains songs about spies, astronauts, and vikings, moody surf numbers, romantic ukulele ballads about the fall, and a crafty jingle about food channel chef Paula Deen.

They have self produced two albums (The Adventure Through Liquid Space, Through Two Lenses), won a contest for their youtube video Lazy Day, and have been featured on numerous local radio stations, music blogs, and podcasts. They also have regular gigs at the Westwood Brewing Company alongside several of their amazing band friends.

The Long Holidays are a true Los Angeles independent gem with epic stories, fun songs, and many great adventures ahead of them.
